  • Define KPIs and continuously evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI, incorporating industry best practices.
  • Ideate new strategies for customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue generation.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage marketing staff to foster collaboration, quality, creativity, and accountability.
  • Manage external agencies, vendors, and contractors, ensuring alignment with brand standards and timelines.
  • Own the process for all visual content production (photo and video shoots), managing scheduling, logistics, site, contractors, and budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to ensure cohesive storytelling and consistent brand identity across all touchpoints.
  • Create and maintain brand press kits and manage ongoing relationships with journalists, influencers, and media partners.
  • Oversee maintenance and updates of the company website and online listings to ensure accurate store locations, hours, and product presentation.
  • Lead SEO, SEM, and digital content strategies to enhance online engagement and visibility.
  • Ensure all marketing communications honor and accurately represent Eighth Generation’s values, mission, and standards.
  • Support initiatives and partnerships that strengthen connections between the brand and the wider community.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within retail, lifestyle, or art-based industries.
  • Proven experience managing direct reports, contractors, and vendors.
  • Strong background in multi‑channel marketing, public relations, and digital growth strategies.
  • Shopify experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing website content, press kits, and online brand presence.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage press and media partners professionally and strategically.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity required; knowledge of Native American and/or First Nations issues and prior experience working in Indian Country preferred.

  • Salary Range: $80,000 – $100,000 DOE.
  • Paid Time Off & Holiday Pay.
  • 100% of medical insurance premiums covered by the employer (for full‑time employees).
