Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters and construction teams with , trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and other building tasks
• Support warehouse operations by organizing materials, loading and unloading supplies, and maintaining a clean work environment
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely under supervision to perform tasks such as cutting, measuring, drilling, and assembling components
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist with project planning and execution
• Help with , flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall projects
• Perform heavy lifting safely to move materials or equipment around the job site or warehouse
• Follow safety protocols diligently on-site to ensure a secure working environment for all team members

Skills

• Experience with various carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, , woodworking, and cabinetry installation
• Proficiency in using hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) safely and effectively
• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and experience working on active job sites
• Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining proper safety standards
• Skills in caulking, siding installation (vinyl or fiber cement), roofing support activities or flooring installation are beneficial
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in construction and manufacturing environments
