Job Title: Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented
Business Intelligence Data Analyst
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will collect, analyze, and visualize data, helping the organization improve operations, increase efficiency, and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, clean, and validate large sets of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical models and reports.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and patterns in data that support business strategies.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and provide insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create metrics to evaluate business performance.
  • Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
  • Support data governance initiatives and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Assist with invoicing processes by extracting, matching, and formatting data to align with client systems and reporting requirements.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather invoicing requirements, ensure data accuracy, and maintain strong relationships that support a consistent and efficient invoicing processes.
  • Create and maintain updated pricing for all client menus, ensuring alignment with company pricing models, macroeconomic trends, and business growth objectives.

Qualifications
Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a BI Analyst or Data Analyst role.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • Strong experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and tools (e.g., R, Python, or SAS) is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey data insights clearly.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
