Executive Recruiter | LHH | Accounting & Finance Services Job Summary This position oversees a comprehensive range of accounting processes and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of multi‑tiered Joint Ventures. These ventures include investments in commercial real estate, development projects, and related investment vehicles. Responsibilities Verify the accuracy of property‑level financial reports before consolidation and joint venture reporting. Prepare and communicate adjusting journal entries (AJEs) as necessary. Post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and maintain supporting schedules for assigned general ledger accounts. Duties include cash posting, monitoring, and completing bank reconciliations. Work closely with Property Accounting and Asset Management teams to produce accurate month‑end financial statements and quarterly investor reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and deadlines. Assist Asset Management with quarterly distributions, capital calls, and waterfall calculations and analysis. Prepare and deliver reports required for debt covenant compliance, including monitoring guarantor obligations. Contribute to annual tax and audit processes by preparing workpaper packages and supporting documentation. Qualifications & Skills BS/BA in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution. Minimum 5 years of full‑cycle commercial real estate accounting experience. Proficiency in MRI software required; experience with AppFolio and investment accounting systems preferred. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite. Excellent oral and written communication with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines independently. Commitment to superior client, colleague, and customer service while upholding high ethical standards.
