We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Manager – Manufacturing Engineering to join our Boulder, CO team. If you're passionate about continuous improvement, team leadership, and high-reliability electronics, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do Lead and mentor a team of engineers supporting manufacturing, test, and integration processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, R&D, Planning, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methodologies.
Oversee test equipment validation, production workflows, and product lifecycle transitions.
Ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.
Guide technical documentation, training programs, and standardized work procedures.
Develop team goals and individual development plans; foster a strong, collaborative culture.
What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing) and 12+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience in lieu of degree
Proficiency in LabVIEW and Python
Experience designing test hardware interfaces
Proven leadership in process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action
Hands-on experience with manufacturing and testing of electromechanical systems
Familiarity with ERP systems and managing BOMs, routings, and production costs
Strong communication, project management, and team development skills
Preferred Experience IPC 610 Class 3 / J-STD-001 workmanship standards
Soldering, SMT/thru-hole assembly, box build, cables, and rework
RF, microwave, or timing system knowledge
Experience introducing new products into manufacturing (NPI)
Understanding of GD&T and general mechanical fabrication processes
Physical & Benefits This role involves regular use of hands, extended computer use, standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 lbs. Vision requirements include close and color vision for reviewing detailed graphics and schematics.
