Manufacturing Engineer II

Job Description
This role focuses on the end‑to‑end lifecycle of manufacturing projects, including research, planning, design, testing, analysis, and continuous improvement. You will contribute innovative solutions and help align projects with quality, safety, and business goals.
Responsibilities
Lead small‑scale engineering projects from concept to implementation, securing buy‑in from senior engineers.
Resolve production issues independently using expertise across one or more technical disciplines.
Develop and execute testing protocols in collaboration with team members.
Define quality expectations and implement QA procedures to meet standards.
Create and maintain production documentation, including work instructions, QA matrices, bills of materials, and procedures specific to products or activities.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
Strong project management, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools in a production environment.
Hands‑on experience in Rubber, Fabrication, Forming, Coatings, Castings, and Machining.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, power tools, and fabrication.
Experience in metal forming, root cause analysis, welding, and capital expenditure (capex).
Knowledge of manufacturing process improvement, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and perform statistical analysis.
Familiarity with SolidWorks and process engineering.
Work Environment
The position is based in a production and industrial manufacturing setting. Team members should be prepared to engage in hands‑on activities that may result in grease stains on clothing. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm.
Job Type & Location
Permanent position located in Bothell, Washington.
Pay And Benefits
Pay range: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year. Benefits include:
