The Job As a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll be part of our Aerospace team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to: Support production operations and drive continuous improvement across the facility Support day‑to‑day manufacturing operations Perform Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions Set up and update manufacturing routers Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality and productivity Collaborate effectively with a motivated, team‑oriented group of engineers to resolve production challenges Collaborate directly with manufacturing personnel to resolve production issues and implement process improvements Apply a strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and industry standards This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. “Green Card Holder”), Political Asylee, or Refugee. The Person Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering) Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing Knowledge of aerospace industry specifications and standards (e.g., AS9100, NAS, MIL) Proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Experience with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software Familiarity with ERP systems Knowledge of aerospace fastener manufacturing Understanding of metal forming processes, including heading, nut forming, and progressive die presses Experience with conventional and CNC machining Familiarity with destructive and non‑destructive testing methods for aerospace fasteners Understanding of aerospace surface treatments, including plating, solid film lubricants, and cetyl alcohol Knowledge of heat treatment processes and their impact on material properties The Details You’ll receive a competitive salary and a great benefits plan, including: Medical, dental, life, vision, disability, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement in addition to programs & benefits in support of your well‑being. The base pay range for this position in California is $99,300 – $134,299 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign‑on payment may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
