Job Description:
Position Summary The Director of Accreditation and Operations provides strategic and operational support to ensure the business school maintains compliance with accreditation standards (AACSB, Middle States) and effectively manages key administrative processes. This position works closely with the Dean, Associate Dean, faculty, and administrative units to oversee accreditation activities, data management, reporting, process improvement, space and HR coordination, and external communications in support of the Deans strategic priorities. The role also involves coordinating school-wide operations to support academic excellence, continuous improvement, and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
AACSB Accreditation
Manage the schools AACSB accreditation portfolio, ensuring ongoing compliance with standards. Collect, analyze, and maintain data required for AACSB accreditation (e.g., faculty qualifications, assurance of learning, strategic management, engagement, and innovation). Prepare reports, tables, and documentation for Continuous Improvement Reviews (CIR), Initial Accreditation, and Interim Reports. Serve as primary liaison with AACSB and act as a resource for faculty and staff regarding standards, policies, and processes. Support Assurance of Learning (AoL) processes. Coordinate faculty qualification tracking (scholarly academic, practice academic, scholarly practitioner, instructional practitioner) and professional development documentation. Operations & Administration Develop and maintain accreditation-related databases and tracking systems. Provide project management and operational support for strategic initiatives, special projects, and events. Collaborate with institutional research and other university offices on data collection, reporting, and compliance. Support budgeting, resource allocation, and operational planning related to accreditation and continuous improvement. Supervise staff and graduate assistants supporting accreditation and operations, as assigned. Write adjunct contracts Onboarding all new faculty members in person. Work with ITS in setting up accounts. Complete paperwork. Annual Salary:

Qualifications
Required: Masters degree in business, higher education administration, or related field preferred. Applicants with relevant experience and a Bachelors degree will be considered. Experience in academic administration, accreditation, or institutional research. Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail. Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in database systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data visualization tools. Preferred: Direct experience with AACSB and Middle States accreditation processes. Familiarity with faculty credentialing and Assurance of Learning systems. Experience working at a business school or higher education environment. Supervisory or team leadership experience. College student academic advising experience Competencies Knowledge of higher education accreditation standards and higher education quality assurance (AACSB, Middle States). Analytical thinking and problem-solving. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills. Additional information: Siena University offers a generous benefit package to eligible full-time employees.
