Job Description: Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates
• Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus • Up to 80 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off • Up to $3,000 Relocation bonus Job Summary • Provides in-home evaluation, direction and application of Occupational Therapy Services to retrain damaged nerve pathways and/or teach compensation utilizing remaining abilities. Job Requirements
Education • Graduate of approved Occupational Therapy Program; or Eligibility for National Registration Examination of the American Occupational Therapy Association; or Two (2) years occupational therapy experience and satisfactory grade on proficiency exam conducted, approved, or sponsored by U.S. Public Health Service. (N/A if licensed or sought qualification as an OT after December 31, 1977.) Experience • Preferred: 1 year Occupational Therapy experience. Skills • Ability to provide reliable transportation as required by nature of position. Licensure/Certification/Registration • Required: License of Occupational Therapy active in the state of Missouri • Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days • Required: Active Driver's License
Education: ▪ Required: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program ▪ Preferred: Masters or Doctorate from an accredited program of Occupational TherapyExperience: ▪ No prior experience requiredSkills: ▪ Good clinical expertise, communication skills, human relations skills and organizational skills required. ▪ Self-motivated individual who can work independently with little direct supervision required ▪ Has demonstrated interest in professional growth by attendance at continuing education workshops, and applications of new principles and/or
techniques.Licensure/Certification/Registration:
▪ Required: Active Missouri licensure for Occupational Therapy. (Limited permits not accepted)
