Now Hiring: Full-Time Solo CDL-A Driver – Dedicated FedEx Linehaul | Home Daily | Chicopee, MA

Tejas Logistics Inc. is actively hiring experienced, safety-conscious Solo CDL-A Drivers for a dedicated FedEx Linehaul routes based out of Chicopee, MA.

Seasonal to cover our peak holiday time

SHIFT HOURS - 9.00pm - 7am daily

This is a solo, no-touch freight position with daily home time and a fixed, pre-assigned route — perfect for reliable drivers who value consistency, top-tier pay, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL license
  • At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record – no accidents or tickets in the past 3 years
  • Must pass background check, MVR screening, Clearinghouse login, and drug test
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a doubles/triples endorsement
  • Night driving experience preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles/triples
  • Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Keep vehicles clean.
  • Drop & hook operations.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and required documentation
  • Communicate professionally with dispatch regarding delays, equipment issues, etc.
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies
