We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 84-day locum tenens nocturnist assignment in New Mexico. This position begins on Mar 9, 2026, and features a 7 on / 7 off night schedule from 7p-7a, managing the MICU and providing advanced procedures in a dynamic critical care setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage critically ill patients in the MICU during night shifts
  • Independently manage Swan-Ganz catheters
  • Place central lines, intubate, and insert vascular catheters and arterial lines
  • Respond to emergent situations and perform advanced critical care procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care

Additional Information
  • Active NM license required
  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC) required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Previous experience in critical care or MICU strongly preferred
