Outpatient Focus with Newborn Nursery & Light Inpatient Coverage Upstate New York | Adirondack Region We are seeking a highly motivated
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician
to help develop and grow a pediatric practice in
Upstate New York , located in the
foothills of the Adirondack Mountains . This position offers the opportunity to help establish a dedicated pediatric office practice while supporting an existing primary care transition.
The pediatrician will play a key role in delivering high-quality pediatric care, supporting the
newborn nursery and maternity program , and sharing coverage of a
low-volume inpatient general pediatrics service
at a Critical Access Hospital. Leadership ability, strong customer service, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach are essential for success in this role. This community offers a high quality of life with four-season outdoor recreation, excellent schools, and a welcoming small-town atmosphere. The area is within reasonable driving distance to
Syracuse, Rochester, Albany, and Utica .
Position Highlights Full-time pediatric opportunity
with outpatient focus Assist in establishing a new pediatric office practice Support for newborn nursery and maternity services Shared pediatric call coverage : approximately
10 days per month
(3-provider rotation) Low-volume inpatient service: in the newborn nursery
Coverage across inpatient pediatrics and newborn nursery Required Certifications: BLS PALS NRP (current)
Compensation & Benefits $340,000 base salary
for full-time practice $30,000 start bonus , paid with first paycheck Quarterly RVU productivity bonuses
for performance above 50% MGMA Robust benefits package including: Occurrence-based malpractice insurance CME allowance 6 weeks paid time off Premium health and dental insurance Disability coverage Choice of
