Job Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire

Work Schedule: (Onsite first couple weeks; then hybrid (3 days week remote / 2 days a week on-site)
Our client is looking for an experienced CISCO Network Engineer who will work in a team environment with other Network and IT Administrators installing, configuring, and supporting network software and hardware components. Performs network administrative duties for all networking, which may include but are not limited to, physical and virtual LANs, firewalls, routers, switches, security and network access control systems for wired and wireless networks
Minimum qualifications 3+ years of experience in the following criteria: CISCO Secure firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention CISCOs Secure Firewall Management Center (FMC) CISCO Secure Connection Virtual Private Network (VPN) & AnyConnect Client Network monitoring and alerting management Microsoft Windows 10 or 11 Perform problem research, diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolution. Document standard operating procedures for network administration activities Recommends standards, specifications and methodologies for network and network security operations Work with Telecom and other IT vendors to resolve technical/application issues
Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree (Computer Science or related) CISCO or other Unified Communication / VOIP systems Network Security and Vulnerability Management Wireless networking Network Technical Certification(s)
Non-Technical Skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to work after business and provide on-call support Ability to work independently and as team member Ability to schedule and prioritize Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
