We have secured
two NIH Phase I STTR awards
to expand our platform toward therapeutic applications and beyond.
Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated
Bioimage Analysis Specialist or Microscopy Specialist
who operates comfortably at the interface of
microscopy, image analysis, and software . This role will play a key part in developing and deploying automated imaging workflows and extracting quantitative insights from large-scale image datasets.
Depending on background and interests, this role may emphasize
image analysis/software ,
microscopy/workflows , or ideally a hybrid of both.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain bioimage analysis software and pipelines
Analyze imaging data generated by bench scientists and automated microscopes
Design, implement, and optimize automated microscopy workflows
Collaborate closely with bench scientists to improve imaging experiments and protocols
Contribute to real-time, data-driven microscope control and analysis systems
Support and maintain existing imaging and analysis infrastructure

PhD (or equivalent experience) in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, or a related field
Strong hands‑on experience with
microscopy and bioimage analysis
Demonstrated ability to work deeply at the
hardware–software boundary
(e.g., imaging systems + analysis code)
Experience with
Python and/or MATLAB
for image analysis
Expertise in bioimage analysis tasks such as:
Cell segmentation
Cell tracking
Image quantification and feature extraction
Comfortable working with large imaging datasets and iterative experimental workflows
Ideal candidates are power users
