Additional Information About the Role
BJC HealthCare is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead and support our outpatient infusion services growth and transformation. This role focuses on compliance (USP 797/800, BOP, etc.), operational excellence, and leadership across multiple infusion locations. With an AWS/hybrid work model and periodic onsite visits, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of infusion care and improve patient outcomes.
Overview Barnes‑Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest hospital in Missouri and is ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. Role Purpose Plans and manages the overall clinical, educational, drug‑use policy, and research activities of the department. Provides overall direction to the pharmacy general practice and specialty residency program.
Responsibilities
Directs operations and integrates services within the work unit and with other departments.
Manages individuals, including hires, training, work assignments, performance evaluation, and professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity of the group meets the department's operational goals.
Plans and manages programs and services to improve the safety of the medication management system.
Establishes and coordinates pharmacy policies and procedures in assigned practice areas.
Ensures departmental compliance with accreditation and regulatory agency requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Education : Doctorate – Pharmacy
Experience : 2–5 years
Supervisor Experience : 2–5 years
Licenses & Certifications : RPh
