What You Will Do The Senior Customer Development Analyst improves our partnership with retailers by providing category solutions and insights that drive profitable omni‑category growth. Success involves partnering with a specific customer team on category reviews, merchandising plans, and market‑trend research for brands such as Neutrogena®, Aveeno®, Tylenol®, Zyrtec®, and Band‑Aid®.
Key Responsibilities
Focus on strategic categories essential for growth of the customer and Kenvue.
Drive sales growth by uncovering opportunities via deep‑dive analytics, discerning trends, and providing insights‑based recommendations.
Ensure data accuracy through careful review and refinement before analysis.
Provide unbiased category‑management recommendations to enable traffic and market‑share growth.
Collaborate with Customer Development Managers to evolve promotional plans and evaluate pricing impact.
Work with internal partners to provide customer voice for go‑to‑market initiatives.
Recommend SKU optimization based on shopper, category, brand, and customer insights.
Integrate omni‑channel initiatives into business‑results analysis.
Lead strategic initiatives beyond day‑to‑day analytical support.
Mentor and coach junior team members.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 2 years prior experience in customer sales, merchandising, analytics, or a consumer‑products environment.
Ability to work effectively within a dynamic, complex matrix, changing environment.
Ability to draw actionable insights that drive growth.
Ability to summarize and influence decisions through data.
Ability to assess marketplaces and various consumer‑retail business models.
Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to experiment and pursue new ideas.
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint skills required.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of syndicated scan, shopper panel, assortment‑optimization tools (Nielsen/Circana), ad tracking (Numerator), and PowerBI.
Ecommerce and omni‑channel experience preferred.
Prior experience with JDA or other space‑planning software.
Up to 20% domestic travel required.
What’s In It For You Annual base salary range for new hires: $90,100.00 – $127,200.00.
