This is how you will grow: We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Technical Project Manager (SET Lead) for the Interiors team. You will work with a team of talented engineers in support of the Interior development.

You will be managing multiple scheduling activities for simultaneous projects. You will leverage your expertise in managing automotive trim commodities, working closely with the manager, SET/module leads, as well as cross functional teams such as PMO, design, craftsmanship, supply-chain and the testing/vehicle safety departments.

You will help to balance the utilization of all the engineers to work together to accomplish projects within budget constraints and delivery timing, at the same time, work closely in coordination, with other group Project Managers.

Create and maintain detailed Gantt charts of multiple design projects

Track progress and encourage teamwork to hit each milestone on time

Interface with the test department and interior trim suppliers to keep the validation program on time for start of vehicle production

Utilize Jira to communicate engineering tasks and progress

Utilize Confluence to publish critical information and updates

Provide regular progress updates to management and the executive staff

Lead design release and engineering change requests

Provide technical guidance to solve engineering challenges with mechanical systems

Proactively work with other teams and lead initiatives to solve complex launch challenges, while maintaining positive relationships between stakeholders

Occasional trips to the manufacturing plant

Present to Executive staff when required

Support cost breakdown review of parts and work cross functionally to establish should costs and targets, and help connect teams and suppliers

Requirements This is how you will take us forward:

5+ years of work experience preferably in automotive domain

Basic Knowledge and experience with CAD programs

Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Tableau or similar

Proven experience and knowledge of Interiors trim systems, experienced in manufacturing related processes (injection molding, die casting, thixomolding, covering, mechanical assembly, welding, post processing, weakening,…)

Exceptional communication in written and verbal English

Ability to develop strategic planning related to project timing, cost, and technical requirements
