CT Technologist – Weekends
Hourly Wage Estimate:
$33.27 - $51.00 / hour
Sign‑On Bonus:
$20,000 (only for candidates not currently employed by HCA HealthONE).
Additional Weekends Differential:
$6.25 / hour for all hours worked.
Job Summary & Responsibilities Cat Scan Technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross‑section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. You will interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position patients to capture the appropriate images.
Perform CT procedures on patients ranging from newborn to late adulthood.
Use computed tomography equipment to take images from different angles.
Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and setting exposure factors.
Communicate and work independently; maintain a positive, compassionate approach with patients and staff.
Qualifications
Graduate of a 24‑month AMA‑approved School of Radiologic Technology.
Certified by ARRT (RT‑CT) and current in CE compliance.
Current BLS certification; Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start.
Minimum 1 year of diagnostic experience; CT experience preferred.
