This is a full‑time position (80 hours per pay period) with 8‑hour day shifts, Monday through Friday. The role is split between Scripps Clinic in Encinitas and Scripps Clinic in Carmel Valley.

Retention Incentive Eligibility
Must remain in original hired FTE status and shift (if specified in offer letter).
Must remain in original department/specialty.
Must remain in original job title.
Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Required Qualifications
Associate of Science Degree or certification in Ultrasound from an accredited school; or formal educational program in an AMA‑approved school of ultrasound with a minimum of 500 hours of clinical experience in the specialty; or registration in the specialty applied for by ARDMS or CCI with at least 1 year of full‑time experience.
ARDMS or CCI certification.
BLS from the American Heart Association.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
RDCS or RCS certification.
ASC (Advanced Cardiac Sonographer).
Experience with stress echo.
Experience with strain.
Experience with 3D.
Experience with writing preliminary reports.
Experience with ultrasound enhancing agents.
Position Pay Range: $59.81 – $86.71 per hour.
