Job Overview Boston University School of Social Work seeks a dedicated Graduate Admissions Advisor to recruit prospective graduate students through strategic outreach and relationship management. The Advisor will engage candidates from inquiry through enrollment via phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, information sessions, fairs, and walk‑in visits.
Responsibilities The Graduate Admissions Advisor will recruit prospective students for the school's degree programs through a variety of strategic recruitment efforts, including, but not limited to, prospect management, communications activities, nurturing campaigns, and relationship management. The Advisor will continuously engage with prospective students from the inquiry stage through the enrollment stage. The Advisor will work closely with other members of the admissions and marketing team, as well as faculty, staff, students, and alumni where appropriate. Some evening, overnight, and weekend work required; some travel is likely.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
2 years of experience in admissions or related field
Cover letter recommended
Admissions experience preferred but not required
Benefits & Compensation Salary Grade 46: $48,100.00–$62,000.00. Final salary will be set based on qualifications, experience, and internal pay comparison.
