SAP NS2 Solution Advisory Specialist – Federal (DOD & IC) Active Secret clearance (TS/SCI with CI Polygraph preferred). Must be clearable up to a polygraph clearance.

Location : Washington, D.C. Metro / Capital Region; must be within commutable distance to Herndon/Chantilly, VA and a minimum of 3 days a week in the office.

Travel : 10‑25%.

About the Role The SAP NS2 Solution Advisory Specialist serves as a trusted advisor and mission enabler for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC). The position focuses on modernizing legacy ERP systems, aligning SAP Business Suite solutions—including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Analytics Cloud—to the operational and strategic needs of defense and intelligence missions.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor on how SAP’s Business Suite can enable digital transformation, operational efficiency, and mission readiness within DoD and IC organizations.

Conduct discovery sessions with senior mission, logistics, and financial stakeholders to identify opportunities for modernization, auditability, and data integration.

Translate mission workflows and acquisition constraints into SAP-based solution strategies aligned with federal and mission requirements.

Build and present technical presentations and demonstrations, showcasing key components of SAP Business Suite.

Lead development of secure and compliant enterprise architectures leveraging SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP Analytics Cloud within SAP NS2’s regulated cloud environments.

Ensure solution designs comply with DoD and IC security frameworks, including CMMC 2.0, Zero Trust principles, RMF, FedRAMP High, IL5/6, and higher levels of security domains.

Partner with engineering and delivery teams to support prototypes, demonstrations, and proofs of concept that illustrate tangible mission benefits.

Support capture and proposal efforts through technical expertise, solution scoping, and mission‑aligned narratives.

Represent SAP NS2 at defense and intelligence forums, workshops, and industry events, communicating how SAP’s enterprise solutions drive mission outcomes.

Track DoD/IC digital transformation initiatives and enterprise resource modernization programs.

Collaborate closely with SAP and SAP NS2 product, compliance, and engineering teams to ensure proposed architectures meet mission, performance, and security needs.

Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to refine SAP NS2’s federal go‑to‑market and product strategies.

Requirements

8‑10 years of experience in enterprise technology solutioning within DoD or IC mission environments, specifically within digital transformation, data analytics, or cloud modernization within the defense sector.

Understanding of defense acquisition, financial management, logistics, and supply chain processes within federal environments.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.

Active U.S. Secret security clearance (TS/SCI with CI Polygraph preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

Expertise with SAP Business Suite, specifically with S/4HANA and its integration with SAP BTP, Analytics Cloud, or legacy ECC systems.

Experience delivering S/4HANA migration or brownfield/greenfield ERP modernization projects within regulated or classified environments.

Knowledge of DoD and IC enterprise business systems.

Familiarity with FedRAMP, ITAR, DFARS, and other defense compliance frameworks.

Strategic, creative thinker with strong executive presence and ability to connect and articulate enterprise technology to defense readiness and operational outcomes.

Ability to collaborate effectively across matrixed teams.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems), or related field, or equivalent work experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Consultant, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect) are preferred.

Compensation Range: $194,100 – $411,600 (USD).

The final offer will depend on experience, skills, and location.
