Athletic Coaches for Volleyball and Basketball Sports Leagues and Athletics Prog

Aloha, At the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii we’re very excited to provide the opportunity for our youths to participate in our sports leagues and athletics program. We are seeking dedicated volunteer coaches who can help us build positive, supportive, and engaging experiences for our kids. Our leagues can only thrive with the support of caring adults who are willing to share their time, guidance, and encouragement. If you have any connections, whether through community organizations, local groups, family members, or friends who may be interested in volunteering. We’re excited to share that our BGCH Athletic Leagues are returning after the new year! We’ll start with Volleyball in January, followed by Basketball in February. We’re currently looking for 17 volleyball coaches and 23 basketball coaches to help lead our teams. It’s always special for our members to see familiar faces representing their clubhouse. League Details

Age Groups: Elementary (2nd-5th), Intermediate (6th-8th), High School (9th+) Volleyball Season: January 7 – February 7, 2026 Basketball Season: February 17 – April 18, 2026 Practices: Twice per week (1 hour) at clubhouse gyms or fields Games: Saturday mornings at 9:00am, 10:30am, or 12:00pm at clubhouse sites or supporting locations Teams will compete for the BGCH Athletics Trophy, which will return to the Championship clubhouse at the end of the season!
