We are seeking an experienced Locums Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage in a Cancer Center setting in Williston, North Dakota. This role focuses on outpatient oncology care, treatment coordination, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary oncology team.
Schedule & Coverage
Clinic Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Coverage Needed:
Minimum 3 days per week
Options include Monday–Wednesday or Tuesday–Thursday
No weekend or call responsibilities noted
Practice Setting
Outpatient Cancer Center
Radiation Oncology on-site
Surgical Oncology off-site
Collaborative APP team environment
Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage oncology patients in the clinic setting
Complete cancer staging workups
Formulate and initiate chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatment plans in collaboration with Radiation and Surgical Oncology
Provide clinical oversight of treatment delivery and infusion services
Coordinate patient care across regional and tertiary health systems as needed (e.g., Trinity Health, Mayo Clinic, University of Minnesota)
Collaborate closely with other Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
Procedures (Preferred but Not Required)
Bone marrow biopsy experience
Qualifications
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
North Dakota medical license or IMLC eligibility
BLS certification
Active DEA registration
