TITLE IS FLEXIBLE WITH FAST TRACK GROWTH PATH TO HEAD OF FINANCE

In this role you’ll lead the financial strategy, regulatory compliance, and operational finance functions for a U.S.-based financial services organization. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced environment, requiring both high‑level oversight and active involvement in day‑to‑day financial operations.

Core Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory filings in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable SEC and FINRA requirements.

Act as the Finance and Operations Principal (FINOP), ensuring compliance with capital and regulatory standards.

Serve as the primary finance liaison between U.S. operations and international leadership, ensuring alignment on reporting, audits, and financial standards.

Prepare financial statements, coordinate internal and external audits, and maintain strong communication with global stakeholders.

Monitor and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly P&L reports to ensure accuracy and transparency.

Oversee financial administration for trading and capital markets activities, including risk controls and clearing partner reconciliations.

Develop and maintain robust financial controls, cash management processes, and capital planning frameworks.

Deliver forecasts, performance reports, and management information to executive leadership.

Manage vendor relationships, expense oversight, and implement system improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Experienced finance professional with 6+ years in the financial services industry.

Strong background in audits and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.

CPA designation and Series 27 FINOP license (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire).

Deep understanding of broker‑dealer accounting practices and regulatory requirements.

Proven experience working within audit or global banking environments and managing regulatory inquiries.

Familiarity with financial systems such as

Sage

and

Concur

is a plus.
