Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) seeks a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to join our small, close-knit community hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced neurologists and new graduates to establish a rewarding practice in the beautiful rural setting of Vermont.

Position Details

Position Type:

Setting:

Outpatient clinic with inpatient consultations

Call Requirements:

No call required

Clinical Responsibilities

Patient Volume:

14-16+ patients per day

Patient Population:

Seizures, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, dementia, tremors, stroke, headaches, back pain, arm pain, and general neurology conditions

Procedures:

EEG interpretation, IVIG administration, biopsies, nerve conduction studies, EMG. No operating room time required.

Qualifications

Board eligible or board certified in Neurology

EMG experience required

Open to new graduates

Must be comfortable with EEG interpretation and nerve conduction studies

Practice Environment

Established Neurology practice with excellent interdepartmental support

Dedicated support staff: secretary, RN, and administrative support

Strong collaboration across departments

Small practice atmosphere with personalized patient care
