Pay Rate:
$65 – $67/hr. on W2 Shift:
Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule Notes:
3x12s (36 hours/week). Every third weekend is required. No holiday requirement. One on-call assignment per contract. Float within Mother Baby unit only.
Job Summary: The Registered Nurse – Mother Baby is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care in a Special Care Nursery/Mother Baby setting. This role includes planning, implementing, and documenting individualized nursing care while supporting evidence-based practice. The RN delivers patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards and collaborates closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes for mothers and newborns.
Responsibilities: Evaluate patients and assist physicians with clinical care needs. Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient assessments. Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing evaluations. Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage assigned patient care. Document care according to standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities. Advocate for evidence-based practice and innovative care delivery. Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models. Perform additional duties as assigned.
