Program/Business Analyst Senior
Supports data collection and analysis efforts for a designated division within a federal agency, creating methods and managing systems to capture, collect, and visualize bed capacity, financial, and other data related to division activities while collaborating with federal and contractor personnel.
Position Duties
Maintain dashboards, SharePoint lists, and leadership reports to track bed capacity, funding status, delivery dates, and other program–specific information.
Train staff on information systems and data collection tools.
Conduct business analysis and work with system developers to capture requirements related to division and care provider activities.
Develop dashboards in Tableau, Palantir, Salesforce, and other systems to visualize data related to care providers.
Support and maintain the division SharePoint site, including managing user permissions, web parts, training resources, and approvals workflow.
Manage and ensure the integrity of care provider demographics, portal capacity data, program contact, stop placement, staffing, site visits, and licensure.
Assist with organization of files and documents across division shared drive and SharePoint site.
Support data requests from internal and external entities and agencies.
Manage Tableau, Palantir, portal, and Salesforce program‑management account creation process for care providers and project officers.
Collaborate with staff to enhance program data collection and analysis.
Identify care provider trends, performance outcomes, and indicators.
Conduct high‑level data interpretation and analysis using a data analytics platform.
Prepare written summaries and presentations reflecting analysis results and present findings to leadership.
Provide ad‑hoc data reporting as needed.
Oversee quality and production of analytical reports related to funding, bed capacity, capacity projections, intakes, transfers, and other topics.
Track funds and create memos to assist with grant‑fund disbursement.
Support training of care provider staff on the bed capacity data collection system.
Assist in projects that continually improve data analysis collaboration among teams.
Compile, analyze, and visualize data using platforms such as Tableau.
Build data repositories, databases, data dictionaries, and distribution lists.
Conduct weekly meetings across the division to discuss capacity goals, requests, and resources needed to improve data quality.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree and at least 7 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative data interpretation and analysis; Masters preferred.
Working knowledge of data visualization platforms, including Tableau dashboards.
Exceptional analytical skills, including SQL and scripting languages (Python/R) and relational databases.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Office 365.
Experience working with immigrants, refugees, and underserved populations is preferred.
Additional Requirements
Existing Public Trust or ability to obtain one (MBI T2).
Position performed onsite at a government facility in Washington, DC.
Compensation Salary range: $89,250 – $120,750, based on experience, location, and contractual requirements.
Work Details Scheduled weekly hours: 40 Travel required: less than 10% Telecommuting options: onsite Location: USA DC Washington
