About the Opportunity Boden Talent is partnering with
our client , a leading organization in the real estate and property management sector, to recruit an experienced Head of Property Management Accounting (PMA).
In this executive role, you will shape and drive the PMA strategy across the Americas with a focus on elevating property accounting capabilities. You will oversee a $50M USD budget, champion operational excellence, and enhance both client satisfaction and team performance.
You will join the Property Management Executive Team and work closely with leadership across U.S. markets. Additionally, you will be part of the Global PMA Leadership Team, helping strengthen global alignment across PMA functions and platforms.
Key Responsibilities Strategic & Executive Leadership
Lead the PMA vision and strategy across the Americas in alignment with company objectives.
Strengthen and optimize the relationship with the internal Business Services Organization (BSO), focusing on governance, financial oversight, and operational performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Property Management leaders across U.S. markets.
Establish structured governance programs at both the executive and market levels.
Operational Excellence & Growth
Increase the visibility and perceived value of PMA within the broader Property Management business.
Partner with sales teams to support business growth and clearly communicate the value of PMA services.
Ensure consistent pricing and service scoping to support margin improvement.
Prepare teams for growth through effective forecasting, planning, and onboarding of new business.
Lead a national PMA team, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
Partner with shared services teams to support recruitment, development, and retention of client-facing accounting professionals.
Work with global PMA leaders to develop and deploy PMA-specific training programs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with leaders across accounting, HR, technology, and finance.
Maintain full P&L accountability for the PMA cost center and the revenue-generating PMA Accounting-Only business.
About You
Bachelor’s degree preferred; 15+ years of relevant experience required.
CPA strongly preferred.
Demonstrated leadership experience in coaching, development, staffing, and performance management.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information and influence senior stakeholders.
Proven commercial and operational expertise that drives business performance.
A collaborative leader who can motivate teams and deliver results.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational and analytical skills.
