Position Summary
Our team is looking for an experienced valuation, analytics and modelling practitioner to serve as a key member of our Analytics Ops team supporting all Excel Analytics capabilities and offerings. The Analytics Ops team serves as the critical connective tissue between our engineering team and our client‑facing consultants. This role will support a range of initiatives centered on the evaluation and measurement of brand and talent partnerships in sports and entertainment. Additionally, it will play an important role in conceiving and developing new models, templates, approaches, automations and offerings to support our team’s growth, efficiency and effectiveness.
Role & Responsibilities
Support valuation modeling and partnership analysis across key Excel Sports Management (ESM) clients
Generate meaningful insights from complex data sets that identify key partnership considerations and opportunities for optimization
Work in partnership with the Client Analytics team to ensure full understanding of, and alignment around, the key metrics and results on all valuation and partnership ROI engagements
Collaborate with Analytics Engineering team as needed on capability development and optimization initiatives to support consistent execution on team‑wide priorities
Conduct research and analysis on key topics in sponsorship and talent measurement to deepen our domain expertise
As needed, develop insights and perspectives on key sponsorship dynamics at the brand category, sport and market level
Conduct financial and econometric analysis on a range of sponsorship, brand, category and market‑related topics in service to developing new insights and offerings
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Statistical/Quantitative Analysis, Business Analytics or similar field
3–5 years of direct experience in sponsorship or brand marketing quantitative analytics
1–2 years direct experience in partnership valuation
Sports marketing and/or agency experience is a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong familiarity with database structures and querying syntax (e.g., SQL); working knowledge of R and Python is a plus
Working knowledge of advanced statistics and data modeling techniques, including regression and classification techniques, and use of techniques and tools appropriate for analysis of both structured and unstructured data
Working knowledge of developing tools and dashboards within standard data viz tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
Expertise in MS Excel (or comparable quantitative applications) with the ability to efficiently build models and assess data sets at scale
Ability to develop frameworks for steering complex insight/analytics projects
Demonstrated experience and interest in econometric analysis, with a track record of deploying that interest in service to financial modelling
An action‑oriented, self‑starter who loves being part of a dynamic team and can generate first‑class work independently when needed

Compensation The pay range for this position is: $80,000 per year – $100,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
