Join LensCrafters as a Store Manager and lead our visionaries to deliver outstanding eye care using state‑of‑the‑art technology and personalized service.

General Function The overall mission of the Store Manager is to be a leader within the LensCrafters organization, delivering key performance indicators by integrating the Brand Story and ensuring flawless execution of the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Convey a commitment to providing unsurpassed Customer Service through ensuring the LensCrafters staff performs the Sales and Service Process steps.

Demonstrate the Diamond Service Principals and Service Vision with all customers and patients.

Provide on‑the‑job training and guidance to team members using company programs.

Analyze store financial data and recommend steps to improve profitability.

Strive to achieve “Far Exceeds Expectations” on targets such as NPS, % Sales to Plan, Customer Count, Store Operating Profitability, % Saturation of Training, key performance indicators including exam growth and retention.

Recruit and select high‑caliber staff.

Forecast staffing needs using the labor scheduling model.

Perform administrative duties including payroll, inventory management, and technical application.

Deliver customer experience KPIs, inspiring associates to exceed expectations noted through the NPS portal.

Lead Doctor of Optometry business partnership and co‑planning.

Adhere to company policies regarding frame recovery and inventory.

Execute LC Inventory Management System and Order Tracker guidelines.

Implement and maintain approved safety programs per standards.

Conduct monthly safety inspections; report contacts to CSC Legal or Quality Assurance within 14 hours.

Maximize optometric partnerships through coverage, walk‑in availability, in‑house prescriptions, doctor detailing, and co‑op relationships.

Maintain a safe and fun working environment for all associates/customers.

Take pride in store appearance and execute visual directive to achieve a consistent company message.

Basic Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent.

4+ years management/supervisory experience.

Comprehensive knowledge of operations, processes, and business implications.

Strong influencing, negotiating, team building, and management skills.

Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.

Strong communication and listening skills.

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Sales skills.

Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.

Ability to manage time under aggressive deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

College degree or equivalent.

State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non‑licensed states.

LensCrafters Final Inspector Certification.

LensCrafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting Program certification.

Previous experience in customer service and retail.

Knowledge of current store merchandise.

High level of business acumen, including detailed knowledge of LC Dashboard.

Employee pay is determined by geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. Competitive bonus and/or commission plans may also be offered.
