What We Offer:
Provide care for patients with intracerebral hemorrhage, strokes, subarachnoid hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, subdural and epidural hematomas, brain infections, complicated spine fractures, and other neurological emergencies.
Perform all elective brain and spine surgeries including brain tumors, spine tumors, congenital abnormalities, and degenerative spine surgeries.
Responsible for inpatient medical care of neurosurgical patients and expected to provide outpatient neurosurgical clinic care.
Perform bedside procedures and assist in the operating room with sponsoring neurosurgeons.
Collaborate with attending neurosurgeons, neuro critical care intensivists, and neurohospitalists as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Manage surgical and medical care in conjunction with collaborating neurosurgeon.
Conduct family meetings, ensure timely outcomes, and efficient utilization of resources.
Collaborate in development and implementation of standards of care based on current research and evidence.
