Summary The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health is seeking clinician‑researchers whose research program focuses on evidence‑based neuromodulation treatments for individuals with psychiatric conditions. Candidates should have experience with techniques such as low‑frequency ultrasound, transcranial magnetic stimulation, psilocybin, ketamine/esketamine, or other modalities.
Responsibilities
Conduct research on neuromodulation mechanisms, moderators, and clinical outcomes.
Develop, lead, and/or substantially contribute to clinical, education, and research programs in interventional psychiatry.
Teach and train residents, medical students, postdocs, and interns in neuromodulation methods.
Perform clinical care and research in the Mood and Anxiety or Addiction Program.
Secure external research funding and contribute to the department’s scholarly output.
Qualifications
Advanced degree (M.D., Ph.D., or equivalent) with specialization in Psychiatry or Clinical Psychology.
Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Ohio by the time of appointment (for clinical candidates).
Strong record of external research funding and experience in interventional psychiatry.
Demonstrated commitment to training clinical professionals and supporting clinical care.
Location Columbus, Ohio; preferably within Pelotonia Research Center (1040) at OSUWMC.
