Pharmacy Director / Pharmacist Amerita, Inc invites applications for the Pharmacy Director position. The pharmacist will oversee daily pharmacy operations, logistics, inventory, and collaborate closely with the sales team to meet business objectives. Responsibilities

Overall operational performance of the assigned Amerita pharmacy.

Establish and maintain Amerita Customer Experience standards of care, providing high‑quality patient care and excellent service while managing safe, cost‑effective practices.

Optimize staff productivity, including schedule management and performance management.

Hire, coach, evaluate, and discipline branch staff, setting performance expectations.

Work closely with Vertical Directors to review, monitor, and provide performance feedback for staff.

Direct pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and all applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.

Participate in departmental and inter‑departmental meetings as needed.

Support pharmacy accreditation and continuous compliance.

Coordinate with warehouse and distribution staff to maintain supply inventory and scheduling of deliveries.

Monitor branch performance through daily controls, audits, surveys, and customer feedback.

Ensure pharmacy facility safety and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Oversee inventory safety for prescription drugs and controlled substances.

Address customer satisfaction trends and resolve client grievances with Vertical Directors, Nursing, and Corporate Support Staff.

Coordinate pharmacy in‑service programs and communication among care staff.

Ensure adherence to policies for drug procurement, storage, and dispensation.

Perform pharmacist duties as needed, providing medication consultation and therapeutic drug planning.

Direct preparation, compounding, and dispensing of prescriptions, coordinating recalls per written procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.

Accuracy in mathematical calculations, including pharmokinetic dosing.

Minimum 2 years of supervisory/management experience in a hospital or home health setting.

Active licensed pharmacist in the state of the pharmacy.

Broad knowledge of home infusion, pharmacy regulations, and administration.

Excellent organization and communication skills.

Licensed and in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of practice.

Flexible schedule with ability to work on‑call evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Current valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.

Knowledge of USP 797 regulations and clean room operations.

Salary Range USD $150,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
