The Role This position will work with the Mapletree Asset Management, Regional Property Management, Finance and Procurement teams in leading / overseeing technical projects and operational excellence. The role oversees third party management personnel for capital project deployment and reporting for institutionally owned assets.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee the strategic planning and budgeting for capital projects and preventative maintenance on an annual basis.
Manage, track and acquire approvals for all assigned projects
Analyze and recommend solutions for unbudgeted capital projects
Complete monthly reporting for ESG tracking and compliance
Identify cost savings initiatives for existing assets
Support acquisitions / dispositions teams as necessary
Ensure process and policy compliance and documentation is completed accurately and timely
Oversee all aspects of vendor contracts and management for capital projects, as assigned
Support internal audits as required
Provide subject matter expertise, leadership and support within property management platform
Ensure health and safety practices are followed closely in all work environments including but not limited to issues related to regulatory, mechanical, electrical, fire, chemical and other hazards
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in engineering, project or construction management or a related discipline.
At least 10 years of relevant experiences and knowledge of all phases of project management, as well as procurement of project management services.
Possess sound knowledge of M&E and building systems.
8+ years of Supervisory experience.
Excel at customer relations, financial analysis and physical project management.
Genuine team player with excellent planning, communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability, attention to detail and a truly collaborative approach to stakeholders is required.
Equipped with strong leadership and project management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, contracting, close outs and delegation of authority.
Expertise in strategic planning and value engineering projects.
Commitment to incorporating ESG policy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Expertise in MRI / Nexus / Ariba preferred.
Proficient to fully understand drawing/drafting practices, utilize engineering standards of design, creating scopes of work, construction and project close out.
Compensation Data The annual base compensation range for this role sits between: $160,000 - $175,000
This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Mapletree. Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including previous work experience, specific industry experience, relevant skills, training and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. In addition to salary and a competitive employee benefits package, candidates may also be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
