Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Legal Services
Job Summary CGS is seeking a dedicated worker with exceptional experience in the eDiscovery space to support a large federal agency. This position provides full‑time IT legal support services using various programs. As an expert programmer, you will independently develop, modify, and maintain complex programs to support litigation environment applications, such as litigation support databases, associated management systems, and analytical systems.
Responsibilities
Independently develop, modify, and maintain a complex program
Translate program requirements into program code
Test, debug, and refine programs to process data in accordance with written specifications
Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time
Develop data entry screens and other user interfaces, implement standardized reports, and create and generate specialized and ad‑hoc reports as required
Qualifications
Must be a United States Citizen
Requires substantial, hands‑on programming experience in the systems environment being used
At least two years of directly applicable experience is required
At least three years of overall programming experience, including experience with large‑scale database management systems
Requires excellent oral and written communication skillsUndergraduate degree strongly preferred – preferably in computer science or information management/technology disciplines
Preferred Experience
Broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server‑based databases and applications
Supervisory or team‑leader experience
Experience in automated litigation support
