THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU
In this role, you’ll work on applications that need to be reimagined and modernized. We are exploring whether to build one app across iPadOS, iOS, and macOS or create individual apps tailored to each platform. Key questions you’ll help answer include:
How do we modernize these apps?
What frameworks and technologies should we use?
How do we lay the foundation for the future architecture?
Engaging with our User Experience team, you’ll identify pain points in the current app and determine what needs to be improved. Your role will go beyond features and functionalities—you’ll also make critical
architectural decisions
related to integration with the use of design libraries, and the frameworks for scanning and networking.
You will be expected to evaluate
multiple frameworks
and help us choose the right one for the new app across all platforms. Your ability to work independently and explore code and frameworks will be key in driving success in this project.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (top 3 must haves)
3+ years of iOS development experience
with Swift, with a deep understanding of the platform’s intricacies.
Proficiency in SwiftUI , particularly in building user interfaces and managing state within apps.
Experience with XCode and UI Kit
Architectural expertise —ability to evaluate trade-offs when building for three platforms, with a focus on reusability and extensibility for accessibility, regional support, and other considerations.
NICE TO HAVES
macOS development experience
Experience
building an app from the ground up
and bringing it into production.
Knowledge of
Objective-C
and its interoperability with Swift.
Experience working with
multiple frameworks
for logging, debugging, crash analytics, and managing builds and deployments.
