The Private Fund Analyst supports Compass International Advisors’ capital-raising and investor-relations efforts across private equity, private credit, real assets, and special situations strategies. The role sits at the intersection of LP sourcing, fundraising execution, CRM/pipeline management, and operational support, working closely with senior leadership and external fund managers.
Key Responsibilities LP Sourcing & Investor Coverage
Source and qualify institutional limited partners including pensions, endowments, foundations, family offices, consultants, and Taft-Hartley plans
Build targeted investor lists aligned with fund strategy, ticket size, and allocation timing
Support GP–LP introductions and manage ongoing investor outreach and follow-ups
Own and maintain fundraising pipelines across multiple mandates using CRM systems and Excel
Track investor status, meeting notes, diligence progress, and allocation outcomes
Ensure data accuracy, reporting consistency, and timely follow-ups across active raises
Coordinate NDAs, data room access, and diligence materials for prospective investors
Support fundraising process management, timelines, and reporting
Assist emerging managers with institutional readiness, operational setup, and fundraising logistics
Marketing & Pitch Materials
Create and refine pitch decks, one-pagers, and marketing materials for GP clients
Customize materials for specific LP audiences and investment mandates
Support presentation preparation for investor meetings and conferences
Ad Hoc & Strategic Support
Execute ad hoc requests from senior leadership related to business development, research, and investor relations
Conduct market and investor research using Preqin, Fintrix, and proprietary data sources
Support firm-wide initiatives, conferences, and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Strong interest in private markets, fundraising, and institutional investing
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (Salesforce a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
