Paralegal Specialist – Bodily Injury (Remote) Join our legal team as a Paralegal Specialist and take a leading role in supporting bodily injury litigation. In this fully remote position, you’ll draft pleadings, manage discovery, review records, and help prepare cases for arbitration and trial. You’ll work side‑by‑side with talented attorneys on meaningful insurance defense matters—gaining real ownership, hands‑on training, and the mentorship you need to advance your career in a dynamic, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage bodily injury litigation files from inception through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, arbitration, and trial preparation.

Draft and file pleadings, including answers, motions, and discovery requests and responses.

Review and summarize case issues; monitor developments and provide timely updates to attorneys.

Communicate with Claim Business Partners, clients, and plaintiff’s counsel regarding case status and discovery needs.

Obtain, review, and track medical records, coordinate expert review and disclosures.

Assist clients in understanding and complying with discovery obligations.

Prepare trial, arbitration, and mediation materials, including briefs, exhibits, and jury instructions.

Handle e‑filing and ensure compliance with jurisdictional rules, deadlines, and service requirements.

Review new or proposed legislation and assess applicability to active cases.

Collaborate with attorneys and admins to maintain organized, high‑quality case files and support efficient case progression.

Education

Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of paralegal experience, or

Paralegal certificate (ABA‑approved preferred) and at least 2 years of paralegal experience.

Experience

Experience as a Paralegal with a focus on insurance defense or civil litigation preferred.

Experience managing high‑volume caseloads in a fast‑paced legal environment preferred.

Familiarity with legal procedures, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and court filings.

Strong written and verbal communication skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

Compensation Hourly rate: $26.20 – $41.84, based on experience and qualifications.
