Employment Litigation & Labor Law Attorney
We’re recruiting on behalf of a global law firm for an experienced Employment Litigation & Labor Law Attorney to join its Santa Monica team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on high‑stakes employment disputes and advise major employers across retail, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, and other industries.
About The Role This attorney will take ownership of complex employment matters, especially wage and hour class actions, PAGA claims, and FEHA‑related litigation while also supporting clients with compliance guidance and risk mitigation strategies.
What You’ll Do
Lead litigation strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation across multiple matters.
Defend employers in wage and hour class actions and PAGA representative actions in state and federal courts.
Handle FEHA claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
Conduct wage and hour audits and evaluate exposure.
Represent clients before the EEOC, DFEH/CRD, and DLSE.
Draft and argue key motions, including dispositive motions.
Advise clients on employment policies, arbitration agreements, and compliance best practices.
Partner with internal teams and clients to keep cases and projects moving efficiently.
What You’ll Bring
Background in employment litigation, including hands‑on work with class actions, PAGA, and FEHA matters.
California bar admission.
Strong research, writing, advocacy, and client communication skills.
Ability to manage a busy docket and shifting priorities.
Experience with depositions and class certification challenges is a plus.
J.D. and solid academic foundation.
Compensation $250,000 – $355,000 depending on experience. Hybrid schedule available.
