Family Medicine Physician – Core Faculty Position
Albany Medical College/Albany Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program – Albany, NY
Compensation: $220,000 - $240,000 annually
We are seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join our academic primary care practice with a focus on resident and medical student education. The successful candidate will be part of an established community practice at Albany Family Medicine (Community Care Physicians) and enjoy a wide range of clinical opportunities with privileges at both academic and community teaching hospitals.
Clinical Responsibilities Our faculty provide ambulatory primary care, geriatrics, sports medicine, outpatient procedures, inpatient medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, newborn care, gender‑affirming care, opioid use disorder treatment, women’s health (with or without obstetrics), abortion care, and point‑of‑care ultrasound. You will work alongside residents, pharmacists, and behavioral health professionals.
Educational Responsibilities At our 6‑6‑6 residency program (ACGME accredited with osteopathic recognition), you will mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows. Responsibilities include curriculum development, clinical instruction, and scholarly activities. Faculty serve at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher (rank commensurate with experience).
