Overview The Intuit T4I team is responsible for building Intuit’s core capabilities surrounding enterprise Workforce, People and Places technologies. Our stakeholders include Intuit’s HR, Facilities, IT, segment business unit leaders, and all Intuit workers and employees, including the expert workforce. By working closely with these stakeholders, we deliver the data capabilities needed to support Intuit’s scale, growth, and best-in-class employee and expert experience, fueling productivity for Intuit’s people.
Responsibilities
Rapidly execute data initiatives: partner with Product Managers and business to translate business problems into data solutions, handling end-to-end execution from concept to delivery using Intuit's big‑data platform capabilities.
Deep dive and create data products: proactively build connected data products and pipelines across data domains with a focus on data quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
Innovate and build POCs: develop and iterate on new data applications, creating proof‑of‑concepts for data pipelines, API integrations, data universes, and advanced data modeling such as data ontologies and knowledge graphs for a semantic data layer.
Drive strategic impact: focus on the direct application of data to deliver measurable business outcomes, even when working with imperfect data.
Collaborate and mentor: work in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment, wearing multiple hats and collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams. You will also have opportunities to mentor others and contribute to team growth.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in complex data domains leading data strategy and data products for enterprise functions such as HR and workforce technology.
Strong understanding of data engineering and dimensional design fundamentals, front‑end analysis and data visualization, and rapid learning of new technologies. Knowledge of data federation techniques and large‑scale data aggregation from multiple source systems.
Highly advanced SQL, Python, Spark skills, and familiarity with API integration and management. Experience designing and developing ETL pipelines across platforms such as Spark, Hadoop, and AWS Data Services.
Experience designing data model schemas, ontologies, and supporting data warehouses or semantic data layers to enable integration of disparate data sources internally and externally.
Startup mindset, ability to wear multiple hats and switch context rapidly.
Ability to work independently and meet aggressive timelines.
Proficiency in data and analytics tools and patterns, with an understanding of modern data‑stack trends.
Ability to operate in an ambiguous, rapidly changing environment.
Comfortable with imperfect solutions that capture large amounts of value.
Passionate about mentoring others and advancing the team.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with our applicable plans and programs. Pay is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is: $184,500 to $250,000.
