CallRail is looking for a Mobile Engineer to join our growing Engineering team.
What You’ll Do
Build and Maintain Our Platform.
It’s what we do best! You’ll be part of a core team that owns a domain within our platform and help build and grow it over time.
Be a valuable part of the team.
You will bring core development skills and experience in server‑side domain building or scaling an engineering product. You will help evaluate, prioritize, and drive system‑level design changes to our product.
Communicate well.
You’ll explain your work clearly to team members, seek feedback, review code in a way that empowers teammates, and improve our codebase.
Be a good teammate.
You’ll be helpful, open‑minded, respectful, and collaborative. You’ll serve as a leader and mentor, participate in technical design decisions, and support our talented engineering team.
Learn.
Regardless of your level of experience or seniority, you’ll work to improve your skills and learn more about our customers and their needs.
What You’ll Need
Writing iOS and Android applications
Strong understanding of testing best practices and a commitment to code quality
Helping make technical design decisions as part of a team
Software development in a team environment
Participating in Agile workflows, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
Staying current with mobile development best practices, frameworks, and OS updates
Understanding of Apple’s and Google’s design principles and interface guidelines
Nice to haves
Experience with push notifications and cloud message APIs (e.g., FCM, APNS)
Knowledge of mobile security best practices
Strong understanding of integrating with RESTful APIs and backend services
Technologies and Tools we use
Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin/Compose
Firebase
Jira, GitHub, Confluence
