Windchill Solution Architect ArcherGrey

is looking for a senior Windchill Solution Architect to join our remote team. The role is fully work‑from‑home and requires reliable communication and collaboration across clients and internal technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, testing, and support of PTC Windchill solutions to meet client needs.

Guide and mentor development teams to achieve both functional and technical excellence.

Build and customize Windchill extensions and integrations (e.g., CAD tools, Change Objects, BOMs, Parts, Documents, Effectivity).

Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain Windchill environments, ensuring system reliability and performance.

Plan and execute upgrades, data migrations, and integration strategies from legacy systems.

Conduct gap analyses and provide recommendations for data cleansing, preparation, and migration best practices.

Propose and architect high‑level PLM solutions that enhance product development and collaboration.

Define and implement rigorous software testing procedures to ensure system quality and client satisfaction.

Serve as a thought leader introducing innovative Windchill approaches that strengthen client success and business growth.

Requirements About the Candidate

You are a technically adept problem solver who thrives on designing efficient systems that make a measurable impact. You enjoy collaborating with both clients and internal teams and can translate between business needs and complex technical solutions. You are self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑moving consulting environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

5+ years’ experience with PTC Windchill and Windchill APIs.

Strong Java and JSP programming skills.

Hands‑on experience with Windchill 11.1 or later versions.

Proven consulting experience designing and delivering enterprise PLM solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience with system upgrades, data migration, and integration projects.

Excellent analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Ability to obtain and maintain a government‑issued security clearance is required.
