About the Role As the Sales Director, you are responsible for leading, coaching, and holding accountable our sales team including account managers, outside sales reps, and inside sales reps across both Gainesville and St. Augustine. Reporting to the Integrator, you will drive revenue growth, refine sales processes, and ensure our team is actively pursuing new business while cultivating lasting relationships with current and most‑wanted clients. This role requires a leader who can set clear goals, build a healthy culture of performance, and remove obstacles so the team can succeed. You’ll work closely with operations, marketing, and leadership to ensure every handoff is clean, every opportunity is followed up on, and every team member is equipped to close with confidence.

Requirements Key Responsibilities

Lead weekly team sales meetings known as Level‑10 (L10) Meetings, ensuring issues are solved, performance is reviewed, and the team is aligned on goals.

Onboard and train new account managers and sales reps using TMLP’s playbook and systems.

Conduct monthly 1:1s with each sales team member focused on accountability, encouragement, and development.

Participate as a member of the company’s leadership team in the weekly Leadership L10 and quarterly off‑site planning meetings.

Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.

Fill gaps on the sales team to ensure the organization exceeds its sales goals.

Own teamwide sales goals across residential, commercial, lawn care, pest control, irrigation, and landscape services.

Oversee lead management, pipeline movement, and proposal accuracy.

Support sales reps in closing large, strategic, or complex sales opportunities.

Reinforce the importance of pursuing “Most Wanted” commercial target clients.

Manage team scorecards and ensure CRM data (e.g., Aspire or SingleOps) is accurate and up to date.

Track key metrics like proposal dollars presented, close rates, revenue per rep, and average job size.

Review pending proposals weekly and coach reps on follow‑up strategies.

Work with the Integrator to set quarterly sales goals and rocks.

Coordinate with operations leaders to ensure smooth handoff of sold work and proper scheduling.

Provide marketing with feedback on lead quality and conversion trends.

Partner with leadership to identify new market opportunities and support community involvement.

Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in sales leadership (landscape, pest control, irrigation, or home services preferred)

Contractor sales experience strongly preferred

Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment

Strong understanding of the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal to close

Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and team‑building skills

High comfort level with CRM systems, Google Workspace, and reporting dashboards

Self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑driven

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Minimum Required Experience and Education

5+ years of total experience in the green industry, contractor services, or B2C sales

At least 2 years in a leadership or management role

Proficiency with Aspire, SingleOps, or similar CRM/sales tracking tools

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
