How You Will Make an Impact The
Director of Finance – Power
will lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for the Power division, supporting strategic growth initiatives and operational excellence. This role partners closely with senior leadership—including the Power Business Unit President and operations leaders—to drive profitability, manage risk, and ensure compliance across distributed power projects. The position requires a strategic thinker with deep financial expertise and strong leadership skills to guide decision‑making in a dynamic energy environment.
Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with Power business objectives and corporate goals.
Provide financial insights to support investment decisions, project prioritization, and resource allocation.
Planning & Analysis
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the Power division.
Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare detailed financial models for new projects, including hybrid systems and distributed generation initiatives.
Reporting & Compliance
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements.
Oversee internal controls and risk management processes to safeguard company assets.
Coordinate audits and regulatory filings for Power operations.
Operational Partnership
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to align financial plans with project timelines.
Support integration efforts for acquisitions and post‑close initiatives.
Leadership & Team Development
Manage and mentor finance staff within the Power division, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Partner with corporate finance to ensure consistency in policies and reporting standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA.
7+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A leadership in energy or industrial sectors.
Strong knowledge of project finance, capital planning, and regulatory compliance.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
