Principal / Senior Electrical Design Engineer (MEP) – New York City, NY (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities
Take ownership as a discipline leader on multiple MEP projects.
Collaborate with the Mechanical Principal to grow and expand the New York studio.
Build your own client portfolio and personally drive the growth of the electrical design team.
Market and develop new and existing client business.
Network and engage in trade shows and industry associations.
Design innovative and complex electrical systems.
Meet and consult with clients.
Provide guidance to junior design staff.
Support overall project management for the MEP team.
What You'll Bring Required
BSEE and 10+ years’ experience with a consulting MEP practice.
High‑energy client‑services skills.
Excellent communication ability.
Complete understanding of building codes.
Thorough design system knowledge.
Preferred
Professional Engineering License (or equivalent experience).
LEED accreditation.
Experience with Revit.
Competitive Pay & Benefits
Annual salary: $175,000–$200,000 with conditional bonus.
