Responsibilities

Developing Windows Device Drivers primarily Network Filter drivers and Windows Filtering Platform drivers to intercept network traffic

Improving code quality and building solid, testable, and well‑documented features

Making significant contributions to the design and implementation of major development projects, and working closely with product managers and other teams to implement customer‑impacting features

Collaborating with internal Zscaler teams as the domain expert for Client platform and helping resolve customer deployment issues

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in lower‑level languages like C and C++, alongside in‑depth knowledge of Windows internals, kernel‑mode programming, and network protocols

Proficient in low‑level Windows driver development, particularly network drivers, with strong debugging skills for network‑related problems

Comprehensive understanding of L2/L3 networking protocols and services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, TCP/IP, and SSL/TLS

Skilled at writing high‑quality, well‑documented code with low complexity and excellent programming practices

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

Additional experience in macOS, Android, iOS or Linux

Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM)

Pay Transparency Base Pay Range: $182,000 – $260,000 USD
