As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will be playing a critical role in supporting construction projects by coordinating activities between construction project managers and superintendents, supporting material procurement, and assisting in tracking projects’ cost and schedule performance while ensuring deliverable dates are achieved. As part of the EPC group, this team is focused on designing, collaborating, and building the first home of Optimus while continuing to support critical vehicle programs.

What You’ll Do

Consistently provide a high level of customer service to Tesla staff, vendors, business partners and guests while at times, being the client interface.

Coordinate and set‑up meetings with team members and stakeholders, document notes, distribute to the entire team and follow‑up on action items.

Perform Construction Documentation/Administration tasks in the phases of file sharing, print coordination, logging RFIs, and submittals.

Procure materials to support field activities, including inputting cost in a tracker, obtaining supplier quotes, analyzing for best value, verifying receipt, and coordinating delivery to field teams.

Assist Construction Project Managers and Superintendents with project schedule updates and look‑ahead.

Handle Project Close‑Out tasks including dead‑filing and punch list tracking.

Develop tools that enable efficient operations, maximizing the team's time spent on solving problems.

What You’ll Bring

Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience in supporting facilities/infrastructure design processes and administrative tasks.

Strong interpersonal skills, able to develop channels of communication while understanding and managing professional relationships.

Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills are a must.

Knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Office programs.

Ability to drive communication within a high‑performance, cross‑functional organization with extremely tight timelines, aggressive goals, and demanding work environment.

Have an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas and eagerness to continuously learn and take on tough problems.

Expected Compensation: $88,000 – $132,000 per year + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay may vary depending on location, job‑related knowledge, skills and experience. The total compensation package may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
