Sales Manager / Sales Director – Manufacturing & Distribution Staffing - Milwaukee, WI

3–5 years staffing industry or sales leadership experience preferred.

Minimal travel required outside regional market.

Our client is a fast-growing staffing firm supporting manufacturing and distribution clients across the Midwest. With a $35M top-line business and ~25% year-over-year growth, they are known for their strong culture, long-tenured operational team, and an entrepreneurial President seeking a high-energy sales leader to scale the organization.

We’re hiring for a Sales Manager / Sales Director to build, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team while partnering directly with senior leadership to drive strategic growth and multi-market expansion.

What You Will Do

Build, train, and develop a junior sales team (1–2 years experience model), ultimately scaling to 10–15 reps

Rebuild the sales function by replacing underperforming reps and implementing a process-driven structure

Implement modern sales processes, activity standards, and consistent coaching frameworks

Lead expansion into new Midwest markets: Cincinnati, Grand Rapids, Minneapolis, Indianapolis

Launch new service lines and support opportunities within MSP solutions

Create and refine sales playbooks, cadences, and scalable sales systems

Serve as the President’s strategic right hand, supporting growth strategy and execution

Manage 90/180/360-day plans tied to productivity, pipeline development, and revenue outcomes

What We’re Looking For

Proven ability to develop junior sales talent and create structured, repeatable processes

Adaptable, proactive, and autonomous — someone who takes initiative and solves problems independently

Strong soft skills, presence, and ability to inspire early-career talent

Experience opening new markets or building new sales regions strongly preferred

Capable of matching the pace, ambition, and hands-on style of a forward-thinking leadership team

Required Skills & Experience

3–5+ years in staffing, sales leadership, or comparable high-growth environment

Demonstrated success coaching or developing early-career sales reps

Strong operational thinking: process creation, structure, accountability

Must be Milwaukee-based or willing to relocate
