The Role The Clinical Director provides leadership and oversight of all clinical programming across Detox, Residential, and Therapeutic services. This role partners closely with executive leadership, nursing, and operations to ensure safe, compliant, and effective clinical care, while also remaining connected to the day-to-day work that matters most.
What You’ll Do
Lead and support a multidisciplinary clinical team, including supervisors, therapists, and counselors
Provide clinical oversight, supervision, and guidance to ensure high-quality, ethical care
Oversee treatment planning, documentation, and clinical outcomes
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, ASAM criteria, and accreditation standards
Collaborate across departments to support client care and facility operations
Foster a positive, accountable, and supportive clinical culture
Participate in direct client services as needed to stay connected to care delivery
What You’ll Bring
Active Illinois clinical license (LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT)
Clinical supervision credentials
Experience leading or supervising clinical teams in a SUD or behavioral health setting
Strong working knowledge of ASAM levels of care and evidence-based practices
A leadership style that balances accountability with empathy
